Cooperation to implement China-US trade deal urged

The China-US phase one trade deal is beneficial to China, the United States, as well as the whole world and both sides should work together to push for its implementation, said Gao Feng, the spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.

The Ministry of Commerce said that the country's outbound direct investment rose 3.3 percent to 285.1 billion yuan ($44.7 billion) in the first four months.

Moreover, China's investment cooperation with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative made positive progress during the Jan to April period, with ODI in many sectors continuing to grow, according to the ministry.
