People aged 26-35 are the main group who buy blind boxes

According to “Generation Z Toy Consumer Trend Report” released by JD.COM, designer toy brands including POP MART, FINDING UNICORN, Rolife have the most welcomed of Generation-Z.

 

Young people aged 26-35 are the main group who buy blind boxes, accounting for 40% of blind box buyers. At the age of 36-45, the proportion of women buying blind boxes is 51.3%, which is higher than that of men 48.7%. On the day of the opening day, the turnover of IP designer toys increased by 423% year-on-year. Among them, the transaction volume of Transformers increased by 328% year-on-year, and the transaction volume of the same version of Starscream of Universal Studios increased by 625% year-on-year.
