MATTEL, CRYPTOYS REVEAL RELEASE PLAN FOR MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE NFTS

The Power of Grayskull is going digital.
The Masters of the Universe series, a first in a series of collaborative drops from Cryptoys and Mattel, will be released on Nov. 9.
Cryptoys is an NFT (non-fungible token) platform focused on bringing the concept of toys and collectibles to the digital world of the blockchain. An NFT is a digital ID. They are often associated with art or other assets, but the NFT itself is basically a receipt of purchase that can’t be replicated to indicate digital ownership. The idea of entirely digital toys is a primarily untested space, but Cryptoys expects to see it catch on.
The company is now partnering with toy industry giant Mattel to bring Masters of the Universe characters to the Cryptoys platform. Drops are planned from November 2022 to January 2023, with characters such as Teela, Beast-Man, Orko, Trap-Jaw, Skeletor, Sorceresses, Panthor, and Man-At-Arms.
