Asmodee's board game business accounted for 50% in the last fiscal year, with the strong performance of Pokémon cards.

According to Embracer's financial report, Amidee’s net sales witnessed an increase by 33% year-on-year to 11.7 billion Swedish kronor (about 8 billion yuan) in the fiscal year from 2021 to 2022.
Its board game business accounted for about 50%, with about 25% from the Pokémon trading car and the rest contributed by other trading cards and emerging businesses.

Among Asmodee's products, its own IP sales contributed to about 70% of the revenue. Beside its own IP, Asmodee has also obtained authorization from Disney and other copyright owners to launch related board games and other products.
Asmodee's annual performance shows that the board game card industry is growing rapidly in both the adult and children's markets and mainly driven by IP. Digitalization and more inclusive designs are also continuously bringing new players to board game card.
