SDCC: Hasbro Introduces Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Toy Collection

Kids ages 4 and up are about to have new ways to interact with the world of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D).
At Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), Hasbro unveiled plans for the first of its new D&D toy lines: The Golden Archive Collection. This line follows the premium, 6-inch scale form factor made popular by other Hasbro lines, including Star Wars: The Black Series, the Marvel Legends Series, and the G.I. Joe Classified Series. Rooted in nearly 50 years of D&D lore, the line will feature characters, creatures, and levels from the famed roleplaying game alongside offerings inspired by the upcoming film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

On 21 July, Hasbro dropped the curtain on the first product from the line, the Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Gelatinous Cube. This display piece is compatible with 6-inch scale D&D figures that can be posed inside with the “invisible” stand. It’s inspired by Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves, and includes 14 snap-in accessories.
