Sales of IP Co-Brand Products increased by 91.8% year on year last year
According to The Report on IP Co-Brand Products Consumption released by Jingdong Consumption and Industry Development Research Institute, in the first three quarters of 2021, the amount of users and sales of IP Co-brand products increased by 65.7% and 91.8% year on year respectively.
Young consumers are the main consumption forces. Nearly 70% of the products are purchased by the young group under 35, over 50% of who age from 26 to 35.
There is a distinct difference between the gender of consumers of IP Co-brand products. Female consumers brought more products. In 2021, 62.6% sales of the products were contributed by female consumers who prefer IP cartoon images with their male counterpart liking IP products related to sports and games..
