Funko's 2021 net sales reach $1.03 billion, up 58% year over year
Funko's earnings report said that, thanks to the continued diversification of its product categories, including dolls, plush toys, games, clothing and accessories, Funko's net sales reached $1.03 billion last year, an increase of 58% year-on-year, and its net income increased 595% to $67.9 million. That success culminated in a 48% increase in net sales in the fourth quarter.
Net sales of Funko dolls increased 50% to $255.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, while net sales of other products increased 44% to $81.1 million, reflecting consumer interest in Loungefly products, games, gross Strong demand for fleece and accessories. The company also entered the greeting card market with the debut of its Popsie brand.
