Puzzles and board games are expected to see new growth

 According to global market data of NPD Group and the sales data on the domestic T-mall platform, sales of games and puzzle toys had a good market performance in 2021 with a high growth rate.

  Though NPD has not yet released global market data for the full year of 2021, sales of toys, according to the published US market data, in this category increased by 14% over the last year, and a compound growth rate of 23% compared with 2019.

  From the perspective of the domestic market, the China Toy and Juvenile Products Association's continuous tracking of sales data on the T-mall platform shows that in 2021, the sales in children's chess/board game categories increased by 23.3% year-on-year.

  With the spread of the domestic epidemic, family members and friends may have more time to play at home. Puzzles and board game products with creative features in gameplay and design are expected to see new growth.
