Generation Z contributed most to infant oral care product consumption in 2021
According to 2022 JD Infant Oral Care Industry White Paper jointly released by JD Supermarket, JD C2M Intelligent Manufacturing Platform and Lion Brand, there were more than 40,000 new products emerging into the market in 2021, such as toothpaste, toothbrush, tooth gel soothing, electric toothbrush, etc., and the growth still maintains steady.
At present, China's infant oral care market is developing rapidly and domestic brands are rising strongly. In terms of market share, domestic brands have basically accounted for 51% of the overall share.
The main group driving the growth is young customer group dominated by Generation Z. The report shows that over 40% of the sales are contributed by high-quality mothers, while mothers in small-towns are keen on domestic brand consumption and prefer low-price products.
